The Fenians Orange Counties Favorite Band
" Now the band-featuring vocalist/mandolinist Terry Casey, guitarist/vocalist Rob Williams, bassist/piper/vocalist Brendan Harkins, drummer Chris Pierce, and sax/flute/whistle player Dave Burnett-reaches its pinnacle on the brand-new Every Day's a Hooley. Impeccably produced, the album's dozen tracks bleed Irish green, oozing with spirited, retooled traditionals (Baker's Dozen," "From Clare to Here") and such thought-provoking originals as Casey's "Is It Really You?" and Harkins' "Greener Pastures." Plus, courtesy of Burnett's horns and wind instruments, the sonic mix is more robust and varied than ever. But before anyone suggests I'm taking The Fenians too seriously -after all, one of their mottos is "Have Fun or Get Out!"-

SHAMROCK BOWL STAGE

BROTHER, Irish Australian lads that have brought together Irish and Celtic music and blended it with their down under style. When the didgeridoo sounds off, crowds flock to the stage to listen and enjoy Brother. Brother has toured internationally for over a decade. Along the way the band has performed alongside some of the biggest names in music, from the likes of the Eagles', Joe Walsh and Jon Entwhistle of The Who, to superstars Alicia Keys and Linkin Park.

SHAMROCK BOWL STAGE

Authentic Irish music requires no holidays with this band. The rapid rise of this Irish-born band has had them performing non-stop, from all over Southern California & Las Vegas to their home town of Dublin. The music is strictly traditional in style and resounds with a younger generation presentation. They have a clear vision of what music they play and how they go about their craft. Dublin 4 will have hands clap’n throughout their performances.

Sligo Rags have mastered the ability to take songs from a time gone by and make them fresh and relevant for a modern audience. Their passion for the music and their willingness to take risks combine for an outstanding live show.

Sheep Herding
at the Irish Fair
One of the biggest crowd pleasers at the Irish Fair is the Sheep Herding Show. It is certainly one of Ireland’s staples. Touring the country side you constantly come upon a farmer with his dogs crossing the road with 30,50 or 100 sheep and the dog moving them smartly along. Perhaps it’s still in us or we want our own wee ones to see that part of our heritage before it too disappears.

This is one of many photo opportunities at the fair.
The parade marches into the Shamrock Bowl Stage where the parade participants salute the Newly Crowned Southern California Rose of Tralee and the Lord Mayor of the Irish Fair. It is another photo opportunity
