The Fenians Orange Counties Favorite Band
" Now the band-featuring vocalist/mandolinist Terry Casey, guitarist/vocalist Rob Williams, bassist/piper/vocalist Brendan Harkins, drummer Chris Pierce, and sax/flute/whistle player Dave Burnett-reaches its pinnacle on the brand-new Every Day's a Hooley. Impeccably produced, the album's dozen tracks bleed Irish green, oozing with spirited, retooled traditionals (Baker's Dozen," "From Clare to Here") and such thought-provoking originals as Casey's "Is It Really You?" and Harkins' "Greener Pastures." Plus, courtesy of Burnett's horns and wind instruments, the sonic mix is more robust and varied than ever. But before anyone suggests I'm taking The Fenians too seriously -after all, one of their mottos is "Have Fun or Get Out!"-

Authentic Irish music requires no holidays with this band. The rapid rise of this Irish-born band has had them performing non-stop, from all over Southern California & Las Vegas to their home town of Dublin. The music is strictly traditional in style and resounds with a younger generation presentation. They have a clear vision of what music they play and how they go about their craft. Dublin 4 will have hands clap’n throughout their performances.

Sheep Herding

at the Irish Fair

One of the biggest crowd pleasers at the Irish Fair is the Sheep Herding Show. It is certainly one of Ireland’s staples. Touring the country side you constantly come upon a farmer with his dogs crossing the road with 30,50 or 100 sheep and the dog moving them smartly along. Perhaps it’s still in us or we want our own wee ones to see that part of our heritage before it too disappears.

The Big Grand Parade of the Irish
The Grand Parade of the Irish, with bag pipe bands galore, the great march of Irish historical flags, marching bands aplenty, medieval Irish clans and warriors and hundreds of other costumed performers will lead the Irish around the Fair in the mid-day GRAND PARADE OF THE IRISH. This is one of many photo opportunities at the fair.

The parade marches into the Shamrock Bowl Stage where the parade participants salute the Newly Crowned Southern California Rose of Tralee and the Lord Mayor of the Irish Fair. It is another photo opportunity

Visit the Ireland of legend and lore while strolling through Ancient Tara Village the visitor will travel through 16 centuries of Irelands past, meeting many of the Ireland most historical characters as they stroll. Set in a rolling pastoral setting, the fairgoer will see and hear the melodies of maidens playing their harps, observe the ancient Celtic warriors in battle, and take in a Castle Banquet hosted by the most famous of Irish Queens, Medbh of Connaught. The area while similar to the Renaissance festivals covers a much wider period of Ireland’s history. While visiting this land of lore the visitor will be treated as they watch the arts and crafts made by hand before their very eyes. These goods will be available to purchase, a few silver coins will do.
